Standards-Based Assessment (SBA) celebrates the whole learner. But, how can SBG actually be implemented in our teaching practice? This session will provide participants with the framework needed to start using SBA. Most importantly, we will be going over samples of real rubrics and tests that can be modified for your own classes.
In this workshop, participants will learn to define standards that will be assessed and reported on in their departments; redesign proficiency scales and rubrics to measure student performance of standards more accurately; and, redevelop tasks to align with standards.
