Science is more than just bubbling beakers and white lab coats! Participants will explore how to use the Scientific Method in partnership with the Engineering Design Process to engage students in hands-on activities. By designing an experiment outline and building prototype equipment, participants will gain firsthand knowledge of what it is like to participate in scientific research. This workshop will provide inspiration for incorporating low-cost projects in the style of scientific research into the classroom, allowing students to engage with STEAM in a collaborative learning environment.
